Bursa’s Local Tastes were Presented at Yörex

YÖREX Regional Products Fair which Bursa was introduced with a booth, held in Antalya  for the 8th time this year. The fair, which has more than 400 exhibitors from 70 provinces of Turkey, ended on September 17th.

YÖREX Regional Products Fair, which was held in Antalya EXPO Center Fair Area between 13-17 September 2017 and brings together local tastes and brands from various regions of Turkey since 2010, local product producers and growers; as an organization where organizations such as trade offices, development agencies, and municipalities have joined together to open their doors to their visitors.

Bursa Eskişehir Bilecik Development Agency (BEBKA) and Bursa Chamber of Commerce and Industry participated in the local products fair. Many firms and institutions of Bursa took part in the promotion of local products, contribution to branding and opening up to national markets and reviving commercial life.

On the first day of the opening of the YÖREX Regional Products Fair, Bursa booth was visited by a number of institutions, organizations and press members together with Minister of Development Lütfü Elvan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and TOBB President Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu. On the same day, the Antalya Governor Münir Karaloğlu who visited the Bursa booth, visited Bursa Trade and Industry Chamber, Iznik Trade and Industry Chamber, Gemlik Commodity Exchange, Mustafakemalpaşa Chamber of Trade and Industry, Mustafakemalpaşa Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Karacabey Trade Office booths one by one and received information from the authorities. While visiting the Bursa stand and enjoying the local products of Bursa, visitors were informed about the brochures and booklets prepared and also the tourism values ​​of Bursa.

Local values ​​were introduced at the Bursa stand by offering chestnut candy, black fig, pear, Kemalpaşa tatlısı, Gemlik olive, Karacabey linden, onion, cheese and tomato products. The stanch of the Iznik tile art samples was presented and met with intense interest of visitors. Kozabirlik, with a silk production machine, showed the details of silk production to the visitors.
